What's going on in North Adams and Williamstown as MASS MoCA celebrates its 25th anniversary. Plus, what I'm up to, what I've written, and how to work with me.
How long will you be there? We usually just go for the day. But Williamstown is a really nice and manageable place for a toddler to wander around, which I love. There's one playground in town that I know of (it's fine). Mountain Meadow Preserve is very toddler friendly. I'm obsessed with the ice cream at Lickety Split but don't think it's open quite yet. Also, check to see if the museums are doing any kids programs while you're there! We recently attended a great one at The Clark.
Thank you! Just a weekend - I wanted to test out a theory of mine that college towns are the best places to go with toddlers, and thought it would be cheating to go to my alma mater ;)
That's a good theory! I also forgot to mention the Williams College bookstore has a decent kids section. It was tough to get my daughter out of there, though.
Going up to Mass MoCA later this month on my birthday - we just moved to the Berkshires in August and I haven't been there yet. Went to The Clark last week an absolutely loved it - world class! Great to have your recommendations here :)
We're going up to Williamstown soon, thanks for these recs! Anything in particular with toddlers/little kids we should do?
